As a music educator, Don has spent over 20 years in local schools. He teaches most wind instruments as well as percussion. In 1999, he was recognized by the Australian College of Education with the Norman Baker Award for Educational Achievement.
Don’s early music development was through brass bands in The Salvation Army where he progressed to being featured soloist with bands at Sydney Congress Hall.
Don has won solo championships at both National and State level.
Rebecca has been playing the clarinet since age 8. She currently studies saxophone at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and will graduate in 2020 with a Bachelor of Jazz Performance.
Rebecca is a regular on the Sydney and Wollongong musical theatre scene as a woodwind player. She has played in numerous professional big bands, and performs with her trio across the region.
Rebecca is passionate about music education.
