Andy Yule

Andy started to learn to play the Euphonium at the age of 8. He studied at the Birmingham School of Music (UK) and later became an Associate of the Royal College of Music London. Andy has won solo competitions in both the UK and Australia. He has led bands to wins at State, National and Area championships. Andy now leads ensembles throughout the Sydney and Sutherland Shire regions.

John Tweed

John Tweed

John is a passionate musician who believes very strongly in education and encouraging the next generation of children to have opportunities to experience and enjoy the pleasures of music. He currently works as a music tutor for individual or small group tutorials in all concert and brass band instruments, and also as a conductor of various bands and ensembles. John has completed 2 music diplomas in performance and theory.

Don Callaghan

Don Callaghan

As a music educator, Don has spent over 20 years in local schools. He teaches most wind instruments as well as percussion. In 1999, he was recognized by the Australian College of Education with the Norman Baker Award for Educational Achievement. Don’s early music development was through brass bands in The Salvation Army where he progressed to being featured soloist with bands at Sydney Congress Hall. Don has won solo championships at both National and State level.

Rebecca Scolnik

Rebecca Scolnik

Rebecca has been playing the clarinet since age 8. She currently studies saxophone at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and will graduate in 2020 with a Bachelor of Jazz Performance. Rebecca is a regular on the Sydney and Wollongong musical theatre scene as a woodwind player. She has played in numerous professional big bands, and performs with her trio across the region. Rebecca is passionate about music education.
